General Terms and Conditions
Cali Travel Experts (operated by Casa Tierra Libre)
1. Legal Entity
All services are provided by Casa Tierra Libre, registered in the Colombian National Tourism Registry (RNT No. 269919).
Cali Travel Experts is a commercial brand operated under this registration.
2. Services
The company provides:
- Guided motorcycle tours
- Excursions
- Intermediair for services provided by our preferred companies.
- Travel-related services such as accommodation, local visits and route planning
Tour details may vary depending on conditions and are not fixed itineraries.
3. Booking & Payment
- A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment (deposit or full amount).
- 25% of the total fee is due at the time of booking
- 100% of the total fee must be paid 14 days prior to the start of the activity
4. Cancellation Policy
More than 30 days before start → 75% refund
- 14–30 days before start → 50% refund
- Less than 14 days before start → no refund
- No-show → no refund
If the organizer cancels, a full refund or alternative will be offered.
5. Participant Requirements
Participants must:
- Hold a valid license when operating a vehicle (if applicable)
- Have sufficient experience for the activity booked
- Follow all instructions provided by the guide
The organizer reserves the right to refuse participation for safety reasons.
6. Activity-Specific Conditions
Some activities involve additional risks or requirements.
Motorcycle Tours
- Motorcycles are provided via a third-party rental partner
- Participants are responsible for:
- Any damage
- Traffic fines
- Improper use
- A security deposit applies
Other Activities (e.g. day trips / excursions)
- Participants must follow safety instructions at all times
- Certain activities may involve physical effort or environmental risks
7. Liability
Participation in all activities is at the participant’s own risk.
Casa Tierra Libre / Cali Travel Experts is not liable for:
- Accidents or injuries
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Damages caused by participants
Liability is limited to the amount paid, as permitted by law.
8. Force Majeure
The organizer is not liable for circumstances beyond control, including:
- Weather conditions
- Road closures
- Safety or governmental issues
9. Health
Participants confirm they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the booked activity.
10. Insurance
Participants are responsible for obtaining adequate travel and medical insurance.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Colombian law, including:
- Ley 1480 de 2011
- Ley 300 de 1996
